Privacy policy
Last updated October 8, 2026. This policy covers thelync.org and the ways Eastbound Acquisitions LLC, doing business as The LYN Collective ("we", "us"), handles your information.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address and anything you write in the contact form, a text, an email or a call.
- How you use the site: standard server logs such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location from your IP address. We do not run advertising trackers.
- Public records: when you ask us about a property, we may look up public records about it (ownership, liens, court filings) to understand your situation.
How we use it
- To respond to you, understand your situation and, if you ask, make you an offer.
- To send the text messages you opted into (see below).
- To keep our records of who we spoke with and what was agreed.
- To comply with law and protect our rights.
Text messaging (SMS) and your mobile number
If you check the consent box on our contact form, or text us first, you agree to receive recurring text messages from The LYN Collective at the number you provide. Messages concern your inquiry, your property and occasional updates about our services. Message frequency is up to 2 messages a month, though replies to a conversation you start may be more frequent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or sale.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that help us run the business: our customer relationship system, phone and messaging provider, email provider and website host. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Title companies, attorneys and loan servicers, when needed to close a transaction you have agreed to.
- Authorities, when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them to follow up or to document a transaction, and records of completed transactions for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message, or tell us, and we will stop.
- Calls and email: tell us you want no further contact and we will mark your record so no one here reaches out again.
- Access or deletion: email info@thelync.org and ask. We will tell you what we have and delete what we are not required to keep.
Security
Your information is stored in systems with access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee it, but we take reasonable care.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how we use your information will be posted here before they take effect.
